How much water does your equipment heat?
The amount of water to be heated varies depending on the requirements of the project. Having the requirements of water volume, temperature delta and geographic location, the amount of equipment to be installed is dimensioned. The amount of hot water to be heated per collector also depends on the delta of temperature required and the solar radiation available at the installation site.
How much does a collector cost?
In Inventive Power we carry out turnkey projects, so the unit price of each collector varies depending on the characteristics of the project.
How does the system behaves on cloudy days?
Like any solar system, its performance depends on a good solar radiation, that is to say, generation of thermal energy is reduced proportionally to the intensity of the clouds.
What happens when it rains or hails?
It is scientifically impossible to predict rain with 100% certainty. However, our solar tracking system, the PowerTracker PRO installed on our collectors, has sensors to try to predict rain in order to protect the equipement from rain or hail by switching into the back position.
Can they heat the equipment at night?
The Power Trough 110 solar concentrators, just like which equipment that works with solar energy, can only generate energy when there is solar radiation.
Can a fluid other than water be used to heat with the concentrators?
Any transfer fluid can be used as long as it is intended for this function. (eg softened water, thermal oil, glycol, antifreeze, etc.)
